Conditions of Hire
Bookings
- Bookings are confirmed with a $1,000 deposit paid by EFT.
- Full payment is required 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your hire.
Bond
- A $3,000 cash bond is payable on boarding.
- The bond is refunded by EFT within 14 working days after your hire, less fuel costs.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Late return
- Extra cleaning if the boat is not left neat and tidy
- Damage or loss (charged at cost)
- Insurance claims are made at the discretion of the owner.
Cancellations
If a cancellation is made and we are unable to re‑book the craft for that period, we reserve the right to determine any refund at our discretion.
Boarding & Departure
- Boarding: 3:00 pm
- Disembarkation: 9:30 am
- The person responsible for the hire must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Present a current boat or car licence
- Full instruction will be provided on handling the craft.
Safety & Conduct
- Maximum 12 persons on board (Maritime regulations).
- The boat must not be driven at night.
- The following are not permitted on board:
- Firearms
- Axes
- Chainsaws
- Candles
- Trail bikes
- The owner or manager reserves the right to refuse hire to any person or group.
- No smoking or vaping inside the boat.
Terms & Conditions
A Terms & Conditions of Hire Agreement must be signed on arrival. A copy can be provided prior to departure upon request.
Pets
Pets may be requested. This must be discussed before the deposit is paid.
